River Wey Trips

The children in Year 3 had a lovely time on their daytrips to the River Wey and St Laurence's Church.
Lots of interesting things were seen and talked about.
We were very careful with the hot weather, taking regular drinks, breaks in the shade, and topping up the sun cream. The children were great! They showed lots of interest.
My thanks to the Mums and Dad who joined us over the 3 days. I hope that you had a good time too.

A Delightful Assembly

We would like to say a BIG "WELL DONE!" to the children in Year 3 for their assembly this morning.
It was lovely to listen and watch.
Lots of smiling faces- children and adults!
Delightful!

Sun Safety Posters- Home Learning Activity

The P.O.W.S.A have invited the children to enter a competition to make posters to encourage "Sun Safety".
We have talked about this in class and the children have made a start on their posters.
We are suggesting that the children complete these for their "home learning" activity this week

Every child has a right to go to school

This week,
Mr Farrington showed Year 3 some videos and photos of one of the schools he has visited in India. The children were fascinated with the way the children were doing some gardening and also loved an amazing art mural.
