Good bye from us!

Thank you to everyone for their kinds gifts, cards and flowers. On behalf of all of the Year 3 team I would like to say a huge THANK YOU!

We have had a fantastic year and it has been brilliant watching your children progress and develop in to kind, caring, resilient and thoughtful Year 3 children. 

Today we have also had to say some hard goodbyes. We wish all the luck to Miss Densley, Leo and Mrs Cornell. 

Enjoy your Summer and make some special memories.

Last day tomorrow

Wow where has this time gone?!  Tomorrow is our last day in Year 3! We have said that the children can bring in a favourite toy/ game. Please can we say nothing electrical or expensive that could be broken.

Celt costumes

If you have a Celt costume please could you bring them in on Thursday/ Friday for a drama session. If you do not have any please do not buy any as we can use some costumes we have at school.

Swimming gala this Wednesday

This week Wednesday (17th July) will be having a swimming gala. 

Year 3 and 4 will be taking part and Year 2 and parents are invited to come and watch.  You are welcome to come and watch from 2pm, you will be free to take your child straight home afterwards from the pool.  Please pack 2 towels for your child for this event so that they have one dry one to sit at the side of the pool. If you are not picking up from the gala we may be a little late back to school from this event as we will have 60+ children to change and organise!

This will be instead of swimming on Thursday

Sports day fun!

Well done to all of the children for a fantastic sports afternoon! I am so proud of how well you all worked and cheered on your teams. You showed great sportsmanship. Thank you also to all the parents and grandparents that supported all the children and raced at the end. 

As well as our sports afternoon we also took part in a Tae Kwon Do session this morning with Forfit fitness. The children thoroughly enjoyed this. 

Bike ability

If you have signed up to the bike ability then Year 3 will be doing this on Thursday 11th.

Sports afternoon

Just a reminder that it is the Year 3 sports afternoon next Tuesday (9th) afternoon from 1.30pm. Everyone is welcome to watch the track events and playground games.
