Y3- Let inclusive sports week commence!

Tomorrow starts the beginning of our Inclusive sports weeks (3). We will be doing a range of different sports over the next 3 weeks. This week on Monday we will be watching an assembly with Paralympian Helena Lucas.

On Tuesday we will be playing Boccia which is similar to bowls but uses a ramp to position the balls and there are two teams the blue and red. Then on Friday we are having a socially distant dance day! Unfortunately we can't have everyone in this year to watch but we will be posting videos of our dance. If you are at home and would like to partake via video link you of course can. Year 3 this year are learning the cha-cha slide. A simple but fun song that directs your moves in the song. I will be in touch at the beginning of the week to talk through this for the people at home.

Roll on our Sports themed weeks!

Y3- Just a quick note...

If your child is returning to school on Monday then please could we have all of their Power Maths books (including 3C) and RWI books.

I have spoken to the majority of you now and told you about where to drop off and your timings (please don't go in to the rooms but just wait outside) . Please do try and stick to these as everyone has a staggered time to prevent too many people in one area.

If you have any other questions about next week please feel free to email at b.thorpe@princeofwales.dorset.sch.uk

We're really looking forward to seeing you. But if you are still at home don't worry we we still be in contact and the virtual school will still be happening.

Y3- Hello!

Hello everyone!

I hope you are able to enjoy some of this beautiful weather that we are having? It is great to speak to so many of you during the weekly wellness calls. Miss Johnson is also doing these calls now.

Some parents have mentioned that the learning at home is becoming more of a struggle and that it is slowing down. This is just a message to remind everyone that this is completely ok. Please don't feel pressured to keep up with the virtual school. It is there if you need it. A walk, cycle, pond dip, board game or a craft is a great activity to do with your child.
