Home learning Year 3 – Friday 15^th January

 Part 1

The children have enjoyed hearing some of the stories from the Odyssey this week. We have arrived at the part when Odysseus tricks the Trojans with the Wooden Horse.

For their “Home learning” this week, I have asked the children to create a picture or model of “The Wooden Horse of Troy”.

 

Part 2.

The digraph "ow" can make different sounds - ow as in "cow"  - "ow" as in "snow".

I have asked the children to complete a Venn Diagram exploring this.
