Year 3 Young Enterprise "Fiver Challenge"
Some of the
children have been sent home with a “Fiver” for their enterprise company today.
Please can you support them in the spending of this “Fiver”?
We are now
entering the next stage of our “Year 3 Fiver Enterprise Challenge”.What has been done so far? :
1. Plans for businesses were put forward
to Mrs. Mewett and Mr. MacBean.
2. These are the businesses that have
been selected.
Car Wash
Organic Herbs
Play Tattoos
Popcorn
Cupcakes
Teddy Sale (donated
teddies)
Play Putty
Fidget Spinners
(hand-made)
Bags of Fudge
3. Teams of children (“companies”) have
been established.
4. The teams have begun to delegate
different jobs to different members. These jobs make up their "home learning" activity for this week.
What happens
now? :
We give a member of each team a “Fiver”. (Here we need the
parents’ help with assisting the children in the spending of their “Fiver”. If
any parents are unable to help here, don’t worry, just let us know and we will
sort something out.) The team uses this “start-up capital” to get their
enterprise off the ground (to buy ingredients, resources etc). 5. The children sell their products to the school community after school during the week of Mon 26th - Fri 30th June.
