For our Class Assembly on Friday 12th October (at 9.20am) the children will need to be "dressed as 17th century sailors". -A shirt which is a little bit too big, tucked in by a belt/rope over the top of some tracksuit trousers would be great. They need not wear any shoes as they will be climbing on the P.E. apparatus as part of the performance. We would be grateful if they could bring this costume to school in a named plastic bag at the beginning of that week (8.9.12). Thank you.
We are doing a short "play" called "Cinnamon Sam" which tells of the nautical adventures of a farm boy who ends up being pressed into working on a Spice ship. Exciting stuff...we do hope you can come along.
