We will be learning about "Light" during our next series of Science lesson.
Today we found out about different sources of light:
We learned that the Sun is our most significant source of light and that the Stars we see at night are also "Suns" that are millions of kilometres away.
We thought about lights that are made by humans; often powered by electrical energy.
And we saw an enchanting BBC video about glow worms and the way they produce light with their bodies.
Next session : Thinking about how shadows are formed, - and considering whether materials/objects are transparent, translucent or opaque.
