Year 3 - Home Learning and Spelling - 18th June 2021

 Year 3 #InspiredToLearn Home Learning - 18th June 2021

Resourceful and Reciprocal!

Plan ahead and brainstorm your ideas.

Resilience!  Don’t give up, keep trying…….practice makes perfect!

More for the fiver challenge.

Practice with Reggie every day.

Poster time!

The Fiver Challenge is well under way, we are just beginning to see how hard it is to make a profit from just £5!  We now need posters to advertise your stall to the rest of the school.

Can you make a poster for your stall?

It must show what you are selling, the price and when you are selling (5th-9th July after school).

Your £5 is also ready to be collected by your treasurer.  Make sure you have a shopping list of things that you will need to buy in order to make / create your product / service.

The Fiver Challenge Timeline:

Week 1:  Look at examples of home learning and share ideas for businesses.  Pick a group to join.

Week 2 (This Week):  Finalise your market research, finalise your business name and logo and write your business plan (we will do this on Thursday).  Fivers will be given out at the end of the week to the groups. (We will be doing this on Monday)

Week 3 (Next Week): Design your products, Write your sales pitch and advertise your product / service.

Week 4 (Week beginning 28th June): Budgeting, setting prices and planning pop up shop or service.

Week 5 (Week beginning 5th July):  THE BIG SELL.  Each afternoon after school pop up shops will be able to open to sell their products.  You can open all 5 days or just some of them.

Week 6 (Week beginning 12th July):  Evaluate the fiver challenge and collect in money.

Every step of the way we would welcome adult’s help and support at home and at our after school pop up shops in the week 5 of the project.
