Year 3 Home Learning - Fri 9th Oct
Home Learning Friday October 9th Year
3
The
children have been finding out about things that people have for breakfast. They are
considering where things are grown and what happens to them before they arrive
on the breakfast table, for example shipping, processing, slaughtering,
refining, packaging, drying, bottling, transporting – depending on the
food/drink.The children need to do another example of a breakfast food like the one that we did at school. (We did a bit about bacon at school.)
- Examples: Marmalade, eggs, Corn Flakes, tea, milk, etc
Thank you for your help.
Year 3's Fruit Creation
This morning the children in year 3 made a super "Fruit Creation". This was a spectacular arrangement of Fruit Kebabs blossoming from a watermelon basket.
The children enjoyed arranging their fruit,- but, it has to be said, -the best part was eating it after lunch!

Our daily bread
We had a lot
of fun eating the delicious bread that the children brought in over the course of the week on a daily basis. Well done to Luke,
Sophie, Emily, William, Hannah, Joshua, Bruno, Daisy, Megan, Elsie, Darcey,
Mason, Harris and Ruby for bringing in some bread for us to try.
