Today the children in Year 3 visited St. Mary's Church in Dorchester.
We were delighted with how well the children took part in the photo-orienteering activity that we did inside the church building; this provided an opportunity to look at the church in great detail. The children thoroughly enjoyed this.

We talked with Mr. David Bowden, a minister at the church, and found out about how the church was preparing to celebrate "Mothering Sunday" this weekend and Easter Sunday in a couple of weeks time. 
The Stations of the Cross inside the church gave an ideal opportunity to retell the Easter Story.
Our thanks to those parents that were able to come along and help to run the visit.
