Here are some other important festive dates!

Whole School Carol Service

We will gather for a Whole School Carol Service on Wednesday, 18th December 2024, from 5-6 pm at St. Mary’s Church, Edward Rd, Dorchester, DT1 2HJ. Pre-School and Reception children will act out The Nativity Story, and Year Four children will serve as narrators. The Prince of Wales School Choir will also perform. We warmly welcome all families to attend this special evening.

Cheriton Care Home Festive Visit

On the morning of Friday, 20th December 2024, the entire school, including The Prince of Wales Pre-School, will walk to Maiden Castle Road to sing festive songs for the residents at Cheriton Care Home. We’ll leave mid-morning and return by lunchtime. This visit is covered under our ‘local trips and visits permission slip.’

Christmas Packed Lunch

On the last day of term, Friday, 20th December 2024, we encourage all children to

bring a special Christmas packed lunch, wrapped festively as a Christmas parcel, to enjoy in their classrooms. You may want to include holiday surprises, like a festive chocolate treat or Christmas tree-shaped sandwiches, but please remember that we are a nut-free school.

Year Three were absolutely amazing on Thursday during the carol service, their singing blew me away and I felt so proud of them!

We have finished our Plinth People and we can't wait to share them with you!

We have a busy fun filled few weeks ahead, please do get in touch if you need anything!

Ms Evans, Miss Gosling, Mrs Scott and Mrs Thomas
