Hi Year Three Families.
We had such a wonderful Inspired to Learn Writing Week, the children really enjoyed exploring the fantastic tale of The Jolly Christmas Postman.
We have continued our focus on the Stone Age and Iron Age in History learning about Skara Brae.
In Maths we have been learning about multiples, this focus will continue to the end of term, a perfect opportunity to practise some TT Rockstars at home!
Turning our attention to next week, we will be beginning our rehearsals for our Christmas Show; children should know their parts and brought home a script with them.
Homework until the end of term will be learning lines and making costumes.
In terms of costumes for the show, please can you provide a simple homemade costume representing the animal they are portraying there is absolutely no expectation to buy a costume, homemade is always wonderful! There are some ideas below. If you need any support with this please do get in touch.
We will be writing letters to our pen pals in Australia, prior to their 'summer break.'
On Thursday Year Three will be on tour for the day! We will be participating in Harleston House's Carol concert with our Pop up Choir in the morning. Then we will continue into town to visit the wonderful Journey to the Stable. Please can ALL CHILDREN bring a packed lunch with them on Thursday!
Here are some other important festive dates!
