Another Busy week in Yr 3

 Hi Year Three Families,

We had a lovely week, we are continuing our focus on The Mystery on Harris Burdick this week our focus was on using words with the suffix 'ly' and synonyms for said when writing dialogue.  The children are really looking forward to writing their own stories at the end of the unit.

We had a fantastic time on VE Day, we really enjoyed our time exploring the jeep, watching a Newsround report about VE Day and of course singing our fabulous song.

In science this week we had a wonderful time, using microscopes, we explored a range of materials including searching for pollen on daisies.

In Forest School we made dens and in RE we were learning about being a volunteers and how this forms an important part of the Sikh faith.

In the coming week, we will be focussing on Money in Maths, coastal towns in Geography and we will be completing our pneumatic toys in DT.

Thank you for all your efforts with Reading Records, we had 25 returned this week, lets see if we can push for a full set this week!

Sorry for the lack of photos, theres a tech issue, I will update with a big photo dump once it's sorted!

Please do get in touch if you need anything.

Ms Evans, Mrs Scott and Mrs Thomas.
