This week we have started our new Money topic. The children have been working through questions where they have to try and make a certain amount of money using a number of coins. For example can you make £2.50 using 5 coins.
In Literacy we have been working collaboratively to research and write notes on what life would have been like as a Roman Soldier.
In Science the children have been learning about vertebrates and invertebrates and we went into the garden to find animals and categorise them.
Today something very exciting happened! We had a zoom call with a link school in Virginia, USA. The children asked them questions about their life and school and they asked us all questions. The children were amazed that they do not have TESCO and are 4 hours behind us. We look forward to developing this link in the future.
Just a reminder that Friday is Comic Relief. The children can come in home clothes. There is a cake and joke competition and you can buy your red noses from the office.
