Following
our “Poetry Focus” this week, we are asking the children in Year 3 to have a go
at “learning a poem off-by-heart”.
They
have had a look at various different types of poem this week and can now choose
one from any style that they wish (- including one of their own creations). It shouldn't be too long.
They should practise saying their choice of poem aloud with a view to saying it to the class.
