Find a
cupful of soil. Have a close look at it. (Perhaps you could use a magnifying glass if you have one?)
What do you think soil is made from? Can you find out?
Why do you think different soils can be different colours; some are redder, some are browner?
Can you find the name of SIX different types of rock? (eg, Chalk)
