Progress Assessments - Week of Monday 13th June
Next week
the children in Year 3 will be carrying out some assessments in English, Maths and
Science. They will be asked to complete a booklet in each of these areas.
We will be
delivering these assessments in an encouraging and positive way and making the
process as enjoyable as possible; we do, however, need the children to work
with a necessary level of independence in line with other schools that are
taking these tests.
The purpose
of these assessments is to help us to track the children’s progress and achievement, they are also useful in ensuring learning is matched appropriate to their needs.
