Year 3: Spring 2

It was fantastic to see everyone this morning. Thank you for your hard work with the home learning over the half term. I wasn't going to collect them in but seeing them in the classroom definitely makes it feel more like the Rainforest!

Today is the beginning of Mars month. We have lots of different activities planned including a planetarium coming in on Friday!

Today we used an atlas to label continents, the equator and the tropics of  Cancer and Capricorn. We identified a number of countries and thought about the different climates of the world.

A few reminders

Wednesday (tomorrow)- Swimming

Thursday- World book day. Dress as your favourite book character, please bring the book into school as we are going to share them. Also the children need to bring a packed lunch that is wrapped up like a gift.

Friday- There are no hot dinners due to a planetarium coming in.

Next week

Monday- Cricket engagement day (the children will be having a special cricket session)

Tuesday- We will be going to the Corn Exchange to see the Mars art exhibition.
