Year 3’s #InspiredToLearn Fiver Challenge!

Building on the success of previous cohorts, Year Three are currently taking part in "The Fiver Challenge" from Young Enterprise.

This free national enterprise programme provides children aged 5-11 with a highly interactive and fun way of developing core enterprise and financial education skills, including problem solving, confidence, creativity and teamwork.

We have split the Year Three class into different groups for our #InspiredToLearn Fiver Challenge and every child should have come home with a paper letter detailing which group they are in on Wednesday this week. For a full list of the groups, please click here.

The children will have time over the next couple of weeks in class to make posters to advertise to the school community what they are selling.

We encourage you to talk as a group (of parents/carers) so that you know who will be doing what.

Products are made at home and selling will take place at the POWSA Summer Fayre on Saturday 8th July 2023 (11am-3pm).

Selling will be led by the children with parental support.

You will have £5 to use as a whole group (anything you buy needs to come out of this, although you may be able to get money off or donations from companies).

£5 notes will be given to each group on Tuesday (27/06/23) afternoon.

We would like each group to record how much you are spending and the profit you make.

If you have any questions please come and see Mr Spracklen or a member of the Year 3 team.

All profits made will go towards an activity chosen by the children and go towards enriching learning in Year 4.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
